Sarunas’s story is one of resilience and innovation. Originally from Lithuania, he started his career in various roles, including working at Barclays Bank. However, his entrepreneurial journey began with a prop-tech company called Place I Live. The idea was to aggregate information about neighborhoods, such as crime rates and pollution, to help people make informed decisions about where to live. This venture, though challenging, eventually led to a successful exit.

Transition to Venture Capital

After his entrepreneurial stint, Sarunas ventured into the crypto space in 2017 and later co-founded FounderHeads in 2021 with his partner Alex. FounderHeads is unique as it is founded by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. They have supported about 30 projects and 50 founders since inception. Unlike traditional VCs, FounderHeads invests its own money, allowing them flexibility and a founder-centric approach.
